Please wear gloves while installing all fixtures. Touching raw brass with bare hands will tarnish the brass.
•Sealed Brass - Solid brass that is lightly sealed with an anti-tarnish additive to prevent the brass from aging or developing a patina.
•Black - Durable satin powder coated finish

I ordered 2 of these lights. Was very impressed that lights were exactly as pictured and described. I had two questions ands both answered in less than 24 hours. I also opted for a lacquer finish be placed on the brass so not to tarnish. 5 stars. I would not hesitate to order again. Only wish a larger size would have been available.
Lights not hung yet as the renovation is not complete.
