Unsuitable for Old Work Boxes

The button head profile of **** A in the included mounting bracket is incompatible with the larger flange radius of old work electrical boxes. The incredibly slim base depth of this fixture can’t support any offset in the bracket mount with respect to the electrical box, requiring the installer to drill relief wells into the box to accommodate a flush seat with the ceiling. It’s counterintuitive to manufacture a transitional style fixture that’s incompatible with turn of the century homes sporting modified electrical updates.
