These sconces were the perfect addition to our 120 year old kitchen renovation. In total we ordered 6 fixtures from this shop. Every one of them were excellent. As an interior designer I knew what I wanted and I found it with this shop!
The design is beautiful, but the construction materials for the electrical components was poor, as was the recommendation for an incandescent lightbulb. The hardware holding the lightbulb was PLASTIC (literally); I've never seen this for a lightbulb. Using the recommended lightbulb led to a burning smell and melted the plastic base holding the bulb. My partner spent 2 days, 2 trips to the hardware store, and $60 on components to rewire the fixture and install a metal bulb base. We also decided to go with LED bulbs. The fixture works well now, but we basically had to reconstruct it for it to work in a sustainable and not toxic way. Frustrating experience.
Be sure the sizing is correct because returning the item was nearly as expensive as the bought item…..
