This light fixture is gorgeous. I love it so much and I wanted to give it 5 stars so bad, but it seems like quality control was lacking with the particular fixture I got. The threads on the down rod were messed up and I couldn’t **** it all the way on to the fixture. The hole in the canopy was too small, so I couldn’t fit it down over the down rod to be able to even install it. I was short one of the screws needed to secure the shades to the fixture. Customer service has been great, though, and they’ve sent out some different parts I needed (I still haven’t gotten a new down rod). I love the look of some of the other light fixtures by Peared, as well, but I’m very on the fence about purchasing them, now. If I do, I’ll make sure to wait to make sure everything fits together as it should and that I’m not missing any parts (rather than just assuming it’s ready for installation) before I take my old light fixture down like I did this time!
