Please wear gloves while installing all fixtures. Touching raw brass with bare hands will tarnish the brass.
•Sealed Brass - Solid brass that is lightly sealed with an anti-tarnish additive to prevent the brass from aging or developing a patina.
•Black - Durable satin powder coated finish

I'm sorry to say for the price we thought it would be better quality. Screws were missing when it arrived and the gold on the light looked defective. Sorry to say it wasn't worth the $500ish that we paid :(
This changed my room. I love them. Great feel, warm. None of the pictures of these have lights that are turned on, so let me tell you that the whole thing looks better than you would imagine when they are. If you are thinking about getting them, get them. I'm waiting to get more from this seller.
