Yes! We use 100% starch based packing peanuts that decompose in water.
Due to package size, additional charges may apply for shipping to a P.O. Box. Please contact us for shipping estimates for your order. If you have already placed your order our customer service department will contact you if additional charges will apply.
We offer 90 day returns on all of our standard fixtures. Since custom fixtures are made to order, we can not accept returns on these items. Custom fixtures include those that have had the size and finish modified outside of our standard offerings. We do want to ensure you are fully satisfied with our product. Yes! All of our hardwired fixtures are UL listed, labeled, and ready for safe residential and commercial installation.
UL stands for Underwriters' Laboratories. It is a nationally recognized, nonprofit safety-testing agency for the US.
Our fixtures are tested as a complete unit, and sport the UL label. A few of our fixtures offer retro options like twisted lamp cord, and so are not UL-approved.
The National Electrical Code, as well as laws in the majority of states, requires that fixtures be tested by a an independent safety-testing agency before they can be legally sold and installed. Many Electricians will refuse to install non-UL fixtures.
No - However, some local codes do vary (and change), so check with your electrician.
Some of our fixtures may include bulbs and some may have an option to purchase bulbs, but most of our fixtures do not include bulbs. Please check the description of the fixture for this information.
Yes. All the bulbs we sell or include with our fixtures are dimmable.
The majority of our fixtures use standard Medium base bulbs. Size E26 (110V), E27 (240V)
A handful of our fixtures use a candelabra base. Size E12 (110v)
Please check your listing description for the base size and recommended bulb.
One likely cause is that the base of the bulb is not quite reaching the connection inside the bottom of the socket. The bulb must be screwed in tight enough to be touching the tab at the bottom on the socket. To fix this TURN THE POWER OFF, then simply pull this tab up a little bit and try screwing in the bulb as tight as possible. If this doesn’t work please contact us at support@pearedcreation.com
Absolutely. These high efficiency bulbs last longer, conserve energy, and can save you money.
When looking for LED replacement bulbs make sure they are dimmable if you intend to use them on a dimmer switch!
If you have an unfinished brass item, there are a number of commercial products you can use - we recommend Bar Keepers Friend.
We recommend a professional electrician install all our fixtures. Here is a list of our installation instructions:
For ceiling fixtures supported by a drop pipe we offer hardware upon request to accommodate a slanted ceiling!
Pendant lights hung by cord as apposed to pipe will hang straight regardless of ceiling slope.
Flush mounted lights cannot accomidate slanted ceilings.
